How to Play Spider Solitaire
The goal of Spider Solitaire is to remove all cards from the tableau by assembling them in the tableau before removing them. A "complete build" of cards is a sequence from King down to Ace of the same suit.
Rules
- Building: You can place a card on top of another card if it is exactly one rank lower (e.g., 9 on 10, Q on K).
- Suits: While you can place cards of different suits on each other to move them, you can only move a *group* of cards if they form a sequence of the same suit.
- Empty Columns: Any card or valid group of cards can be moved into an empty column.
- Dealing: Click the stock pile (bottom right) to deal a new row of cards. You must have at least one card in every column to deal.
Tips for Winning
1. Empty Columns are Gold: Try to empty columns as fast as possible. They give you
flexibility to move cards around.
2. Build in Suit: Whenever possible, build sequences of the same suit so you can move them
later.
3. Expose Cards: Prioritize moves that flip over face-down cards.
